Exhibitors - Lowveld Show 2011 |
We had a very hectic time at the 2011 Lowveld Show and were helping out the Show Society. Therefore, please accept our sincerest apologies if we did not manage to see your stand and take pictures.
Some of you may have seen the Exhibitor tickets, VIP badges, VIP meal tickets and prize certificates we designed for the Show Society. We tried to create items that would become keepsakes and mementos of a great Show.
As promised, here is the first group of photos. This set features the exhibitor stands and traders:

The annual Lowveld Show has a long, distinguished heritage.
In 1966 the Lions Club of Chiredzi established the first Lowveld Agricultural Show and Trade Fair. The original location was the 12 acre Hippo Valley Saddle Club Polo-Crosse field, (the site where Chishamiso is now located). For the first three years, the project was entirely run by Lions Club. In 1966 there were 21 exhibitors, in 1967 there were 28 exhibitors and in 1968 there were 40 exhibitors and approximately 3000 visitors.

For some time now, you've been asking us to help advertise your occasional sale items. At the same time we've been looking for ways to extend the reach of EWAY Chiredzi to more of the community. As Chiredzi does not have it's own newspaper, we've come up with the next best solution – EWAY Chiredzi Classifieds Uripi.
Classifieds Uripi is our latest service. Twice monthly we'll be publishing a printed flyer to be posted around Chiredzi, Hippo Valley, Triangle and Mkwasine. The classified adverts can also be found on the website.
The aim is to offer easy advertising opportunities to individuals and reach as wide an audience as possible.

Last weekend Mrs Mungwadzi managed to astound her husband with a surprise 40th birthday party.
Clearly on arrival he had no idea what was going on.
Shamiso Takavarasha beautifully decorated the venue with a black, white and silver theme. The three course meal was exquisitely prepared by Kombahari. With plenty of refreshments and live music provided by various DJs and musicians, all who attended were impressed, and braved the cold to party all evening.
See the photos below.
