Wow, you can't believe the atmosphere embedded all over Chiredzi this past weekend. From what I hear, there were quite a number of get-togethers here and there, hey? Surely none would surpass the household party that took place in the Kingfishers Nest.

Last Saturday the 26th February 2011, New Life Church held a family fun day for the whole community.
With lots of entertainment, music, various stands, a dancing competition, kids jumping castle, a braai, refreshments and more. It truly was a fun day for all that attended.
Thank you to everyone who helped organise and participated in the event.

Thank you to all our contributors. We've taken your suggestions on board and over the last few months we've been working hard to get them implemented.
Although there's still a lot more to do, we want to take this opportunity and announce the introduction of some great new features:

On Saturday 29th January 2011 Evernice Fararira and Emmanuel Gono were married at New Life Church in Chiredzi.
Both families were there to celebrate and bless the union. Guests, friends and church goers also attended.

To everyone in Chiredzi and beyond, I want to wish you a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
I received the following some time back, and I strongly feel it has more meaning now than ever before.
Because you will see the invisible — you will do the impossible. Because you will touch the intangible — you will achieve the incredible. Because you will hear the inaudible — you will have the unimaginable.

Having returned to Zimbabwe, gotten married and settled in Chiredzi we struggled to find the right people and services locally. We bothered our friends, family and neighbours for contacts; we asked random strangers; and we rifled through our parents' paperwork, but all to no avail.
