The Guest of Honour was Mrs Nancy Pemberton. Together with her late husband, Bob Pemberton, and other like-minded parents, Nancy was instrumental in founding South Eastern College. Nancy Pemberton is currently involved in missionary work and education with Church of Christ in Chiredzi. See the photos below: The Principal, Mr Sungayi, started the event with a few opening remarks. This was followed by the awarding of various honours to the students and the various coaches also received tokens of appreciation from the students. After a spirited singing performance, the Vice Principal, Mr Chimhamhiwa, introduced the Guest of Honour, Nancy Pemberton. The evening ended with an appreciation of the school's staff, the guest of honour and closing remarks by Mr Sungayi.                                                      |
South Eastern College in Chiredzi held it's annual Honours Dinner this past Thursday 13th October 2011. The dinner seeks to honour those students who have made outstanding achievements over the past year. It is also an opportunity for students to voice their appreciation of the school's staff.
